In oil refining and petroleum-related fields, SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance) test scores play an important role in ensuring quality control and transaction reliability during the shipping process. It also helps ensure environmental compliance and product safety.

.Request and Contract: It is agreed in the contract that SGS testing will be conducted before and during the shipment of refined petroleum products. This defines which report is needed, the scope of the test, and the requirements.
.Testing standards: Evaluate various aspects of refined oil products, including quality, chemical properties, and physical properties. Select appropriate test items and standards according to the nature and purpose of the product being shipped.
.Sampling: Representative samples are taken from refined oil products for testing. These samples may be taken before, during, or after shipment, and testing is often conducted prior to shipment.
.Perform testing: We carry out a variety of tests on samples taken in SGS-accredited laboratories, including chemical analysis, physical properties, density, sulfur content, and fine particle size distribution.
.Test report: SGS issues a report containing the test results. This report indicates the quality and specifications of refined petroleum products and provided to shipping companies, buyers, relevant authorities and third parties.
.Review and Approval of Results: After receiving the test report, the buyer and seller review it and decide whether to approve it or not. If the test results are within specifications, approve the shipment and proceed.
.Shipment: Refined petroleum products will be shipped according to the agreement between the buyer and seller. SGS test report is one of the important documents required for shipment and proves the quality of the product.
